EU Settlement Scheme – Applying for Settled Status (Or Pre-Settled Status)

Applying for ‘Settled Status’ via the EU Settlement Scheme is quite straight forward, and if you need to do this, you are just one of many people who are in the same situation.

In order to be eligible, and to apply, you need to have been a resident in the UK for at least 5 continuous years and to have proof of identity and proof of residence.

You can apply online, I have included a link to the webpage below. When it comes to sending them your proof of identity and proof of address, you can do this either by scanning your documents and including them in your application, or by posting the documents (by recorded delivery for safety). If you choose to post your documents, you will still need the ability to take a digital photograph of them for the purposes of the online application.

The deadline to do all this is going to be the 30th of December 2020 (or later, if the UK leaves the EU with a deal of some kind).

You can do all this yourself, but I have recently decided to open up some time each week to process this on the behalf of people in this situation. If you would like me to do it for you, I’m charging a single flat rate of £39.00. We can arrange a time for you to come in with your documents and I’ll take some additional details from you.

Just email help@rfconsular.co.uk

The link below takes you directly to the most relevant web page. On this page you’ll see a button “Apply” through which you begin the application. There are also other pages on that website which you can flick around for other information.

I hope this has been helpful and has helped you not to worry. That is, as in everything, our aim.
